Partner with the Awards

Back the standard.

Put your name behind a free-to-enter award judged on results. Sponsorship funds the ceremony and the programme’s reach, and a firewall keeps it well clear of the verdict.

The firewall

Sponsorship never touches the result

The Awards are worth backing only because they cannot be bought. So the money and the judging are kept in separate rooms, and we publish exactly how. These four rules are absolute, and they apply to every partner without exception.

No sight of entries

A partner never sees who has entered, what they submitted, or how they scored. The entry list and the evidence behind it stay inside Praecip and the independent panel.

No say in the result

Sponsoring a category buys no influence over who wins it. Scoring runs against the published rubric and is confirmed by the panel, a partner cannot nudge, veto or preview a decision.

Entry stays free

Sponsorship funds the ceremony and the programme’s reach, not the judging. It never becomes a fee, and a school’s entry is never the cheaper, nor the dearer, for any partner’s involvement.

Named, never hidden

Every partner is disclosed in the open, on this page and at the ceremony. There is no quiet sponsorship, and no commercial relationship the public cannot see.

Why partner

What backing the Awards does for you

Stand beside verified excellence

Align your name with a programme judged on results and confirmed by an independent panel. The credibility rubs off precisely because it cannot be bought.

Reach schools and families nationwide

The Awards put your brand in front of heads, teachers, parents and alumni across every curriculum in Uganda, at the moment they are thinking hardest about education.

Invest in the whole sector

A free-to-enter award that lifts standards everywhere. Your support is what keeps it open to every school, not only those who could afford to pay.

Ways to partner

Four ways to put your name behind it

Founding-partner positions for the inaugural cycle are limited. We will tailor any of these to what fits, the right level depends on your reach and what you want to champion.

Founding partners · 2026

Be among the first names on it.

The inaugural cycle has no partners to show, not yet. The founding cohort is announced with the 2026 cycle, and being early means being remembered as one of the organisations that helped set the standard. If that is you, we should talk.

The organisations we partner with

The Awards draw partners from across the institutions that care about Uganda’s schools.

Universities & higher-education institutions
Examination & professional bodies
Banks & financial institutions serving education
Education technology & publishing
Civic, cultural & philanthropic foundations
Employers who hire Uganda’s graduates

Illustrative, the categories of organisation we welcome. Founding partners are named with the cycle.

What every partner agrees to

The firewall is not a sentiment, it is a condition of partnering. Each of these is written into every partnership, and forms part of the Awards’ terms.

Read the full terms & conditions
  • A partner has no influence over who is nominated, shortlisted or recognised.
  • A partner receives no access to entries, scores or panel deliberations.
  • A partner may not describe a sponsored category’s winner as “their” choice.
  • The licence to use the Awards name ends with the cycle, and on any breach of these terms.

Let’s talk about partnering

Tell us what you’d want to champion and how far you want it to reach. We’ll come back with a partnership that fits, and stays the right side of the firewall.
